It is easy! It is also a great way to support your favorite indie artists, and have them in your very own home. Here are some basic things you need to know. A House concert is an awesome grassroots way to spread the word about new music. A house concert is typically played purely acoustically, without sound system. All you need is a space that can fit anywhere between 15-50 people - depending on the size concert you want to host. A House concert doesn't cost hardly anything to put on - unless you choose to provide food. Many house concerts are done in a potluck format. Hosts often set a door fee or suggested donation between $15-20 a person. With that, guests will enjoy 2 full sets of music, food - and plenty of time to mingle with Camille after the show. All you have to do is invite your friends, family, co-workers etc - and enjoy the show! |
