Taking the Fall

As I sit in the living-room, the first Fall roast chicken dinner in the oven, I feel a huge sense of gratitude - and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet!  I had the most wonderful summer; incredible weather, quality time with my friends and family, numerous packed CD Release shows, the opportunity to teach the craft of songwriting to teens and adults, and of course, eating my fill of Seattle foods.  Thank you to everyone who came out, gave me a hug, grabbed a coffee or went for a walk. 

My time flew by, and before I knew it, I was back in Europe where I took 1 week to decompress in a beautiful modern tiny home in Germany before teaching one final songwriting camp.  Now, it’s time to settle in for a long rainy fall in Luxembourg.  I have to admit, I love the seasons and the changing of the weather.  It helps me to remember to slow down.  I fear that if the sun stayed out all year, I’d never stop moving! 

I spent this morning recording my first meditation series with Petit Bambou, who I have been doing voice work for over the past 6 years.  I am also working up some cover songs for fun- and playing more guitar.  I have added some new fitness routines to my fall schedule - and I am still working on learning Luxembourgish in hopes to obtain my European dual passport.  All of this is keeping me very busy - and I haven’t even added my private students yet!   I am back to school, however, teaching music production, and performance at St. George’s International School, and I love it.
